We are beyond thrilled to have found Matt and Professional Landscaping, Inc. While we are in the beginning stages of our landscape design for our backyard paradise with our new swimming pool, I am confident Matt and his crew will be amazing. I was in a jam and needed to have a couple of my new trees relocated before the pool install. Matt was great and he and his guy took extra care and dug up and moved my trees. They gave me a fair price and I was happy with the results. Im excited to see what Matt will design for our new backyard and feel very confident the rest of this journey will be professional and most likely more than I expected, because that is who Matt is as a person and a professional. On a sidenote, I observed a really nice quality in Matt and the way he supports and teaches his crew to do different things and makes them feel appreciated. That right there is an awesome quality! I highly recommend Matt and PLS.

Another review - An awful, expensive, dehumanizing experience . Couldnt recommend him . Our experience was the same . Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling like we would never engage with him again, nor could we feel comfortable recommending him . Ill share but a portion of the nightmare.Contract signed in March 2019 . His contracts are detailed, and weve since realized why . His lengthy contracts protect him when problems arise . And he will treat you like a legal enemy rather than a human . His project timeline estimates were absurdly off . Summer before it even started . Little did we know our frustration was only beginning. We desired simplicity, using the natural terrain and trees, of which there is a lot on our property . We discussed a pool, and initially ruled it out to keep costs down . We desired, and reinforced this desire again and again, to keep the project simple and that we were relying on him to help guide us . We also paid for the additional service of 3D modeling and cost estimation in the hope of emphasizing that cost management was an important. The day came to review the concept . Fast forward to the end, we walked out of their office speechless . Unfortunately, we werent speechless due to the impressiveness of the accomplishment - which in our hope was a beautiful project, in line with our design hopes and on budget . We were speechless because Jayson presented a landscape design project of $1,345,495 in estimated cost, NOT including a number of items - all of which would likely push the costs, in my estimation, close to $2M . What on earth just happened ? Cost estimates of 20-30% outside budget wouldnt be unexpected, but this was WAY out of line. Why in the world did Jayson go SO far off track and outside of guidelines that he would even present something like this to us ? He is the expert . We were baffled and furious . Lots of wasted time by us and CERTAINLY by him . He agreed to meet to discuss what went wrong . We did meet, expressed our utter dismay and expressed our feeling that he was WAY out of line for spending our entire concept budget on a $2M design . That felt nice, initially . Boy were we wrong.A few days later we received a bill for the balance of our contract . We called the office and indicated that the final billing seemed premature and that the design was still in concept - or so we thought . Long story short, we were given ANOTHER estimate for another $12,000 to continue the concept design tweaking and to begin the next step of construction drawings how to tell if a tree is dead or dormant . We were furious . When we expressed our dismay again, thats when it became clear . Jayson will treat you like the enemy when you question him . You are a contract to him . He has NO ability to resolve a dispute in a way that feels human or respectful. The last straw happened on Wed . before Thanksgiving, he sent me an email regarding ANOTHER invoice . This invoice totaled about $1175 and was the cost HE ASSIGNED TO OUR MEETING TO DISCUSS OUR GRIEVANCES about the out-of-line project design and attempt to get on the same page . His new email to me on wed, nov 27th, mid-day before Thanksgiving was that, if we failed to pay him his $1175, that on Monday, dec 1, at 9 am he would file in small claims court this invoice . It was about 3 pm on wed when I saw the email . LFDG offices were closed for thanksgiving and wouldnt open til Monday . On top of that, a snow storm was pounding us and we were an hour away by car . This sealed the deal for us . THIS is how HE would handle us over a design disagreement and a $1175 disputed bill ? Why on earth would we continue to want to work with someone who acts this way ? Thats just mean.We raced to SLC, paid the ridiculous additional charge for the meeting to discuss the concept, and then promptly ended the relationship with him . We spent over $12,000 and STILL dont have a workable concept plan for our home.Bottom line: theres no room for YOU with Jayson . Hes right . You are wrong. He couldve turned us into raving fans by different choices.

Tips for Finding Reliable Tree Service Providers in Houston

When it comes to taking care of your trees, finding a reliable tree service provider is crucial. Whether you need tree trimming, removal, or any other tree-related services, it is important to choose a company that you can trust. Here are some tips to help you find reliable tree service providers in Houston:

1. Research and Check Credentials

Start by researching different tree service providers in Houston. Look for companies that have been in the industry for a long time and have a good reputation. Check if they have the necessary licenses and certifications to perform tree services. It is also recommended to read customer reviews and testimonials to get an idea of their past work.

2. Ask for Recommendations

Reach out to your friends, family, and neighbors who have recently used tree services. Ask them about their experiences and whether they would recommend a particular company. Word-of-mouth recommendations can be valuable in finding reliable service providers.

3. Get Multiple Quotes

Contact different tree service providers in Houston and request quotes for the services you need. It is important to get multiple quotes to compare prices and services offered. However, be cautious of extremely low prices, as they may indicate subpar quality of work.

4. Inquire about Insurance

Before hiring a tree service provider, make sure they have insurance coverage. This is important to protect yourself and your property in case of any accidents or damages that may occur during the tree service. Ask for proof of insurance and verify its validity.

5. Consider Experience and Expertise

Find out how long the tree service provider has been in business and inquire about their experience in handling similar tree care projects. Experienced professionals are more likely to provide high-quality services and have the necessary knowledge to deal with different tree issues.

6. Ask about Equipment and Safety Measures

Inquire about the equipment and tools that the tree service provider uses. A reliable company should have well-maintained and up-to-date equipment to ensure efficient and safe tree services. Additionally, ask about the safety measures they implement to protect both their workers and your property.

7. Understand the Services Offered

Make sure to have a clear understanding of the services offered by the tree service provider. Discuss your specific needs and ensure they can accommodate them. Additionally, inquire about any additional services they may provide, such as stump removal or emergency tree services.

By following these tips, you can increase your chances of finding a reliable tree service provider in Houston who will take care of your trees effectively and efficiently.
