Loved these guys. I needed a tree removed. They gave a time estimate of 5 hours. They knocked it out in 3. They did an awesome job of cleaning up after themselves. Please consider them for any landscaping or lawn care you need. Thank you so much. I love my front yard.

Wouldnt normally care, but company put my kids safety at stake & I believe maliciously/intentionally strung me out to prove a point, so Im taking the time to write this review . Owner literally LOL-ed at me in text messages while telling me I wasnt an important customer . Stayed with company for 2nd attempt bc was a recommendation of a good friend and I didnt want to leave a bad first review . Didnt think it would turn out so badly . Unfortunate.Bad communication . Horrible wait times . Inconsistent business practices, if not downright malicious . Would not recommend . Use at your own risk . Dont have an emergency or make owner wait (see review response & text screenshots).Original review: Corey (owner)came out to property in the middle of my 6-month renovation and quoted me on a canopy raise/trimming huge post oak and grinding stumps . He was nice and polite . I called when I was nearing completion of the reno and was told two weeks out but that I was on a waitlist rock wall planters . I said no problem . Then I called back two weeks later and told another two weeks out . I moved into the new house with pregnant wife and 3 small children . Then I was told another two weeks out ! I let them know Id moved in and Corey stopped texting back . Ive left voicemails asking if I was in queue . These guys strung me out for more than a month ! Totally ghosted me . Calling other people now.Response (New): The Google Review response from the company to my initial review was NOT sincere . See text messages, which were sent afterI called back after winter & we set up a time (four weeks) to make things right between us.Corey ghosted me again two months (8 weeks) again, saying he was busy . When I texted for the first time at the 8-week mark, Corey told me to go elsewhere, that he didnt need my business or my negativity, and that Id made him wait for 15 minutes a year earlier (the first time wed met) . The truth is, I had an important call come in while driving from work to meet owner, and we both waited in my driveway for about 10-15 minutes (not 20 minutes) while I wrapped up the call . There were other contractors/trucks on the work site as well, renovating the house . So, company ownership trolled me good (or got me back for making them wait??), apparently out of retribution since he brought up the waiting incident a whole year later in a text.Corey never texted once to give me a status update on where I was in the queue, which really surprised me based on the other positive reviews...both times . Owner blamed me for not understanding how tree scheduling works and said I was impatient for inquiring after 2 months . Im from Arizona, where there arent any trees, so I kind of believed him at first . Finally used another service, Arprotex Tree service, and was amazed that a crew was on site in 7 days with calls every few days giving me an update.

Chase is very easy to work with and truly cares about the quality of his work. He communicates well, is a hard worker, and a genuinely nice guy! He performed tree cutting services for us and now I have him working on some other home items as well. I would highly recommend Chase and Honeydew Handyman!

When it comes to tree maintenance, many homeowners focus solely on trimming and pruning. However, neglecting the overall health of trees can lead to significant dangers and potential hazards. Understanding the risks associated with neglected trees is crucial for maintaining a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.

  • Structural Instability: Over time, neglected trees can develop structural issues such as weak branches, decayed wood, or improper growth patterns. These conditions increase the likelihood of branches or even entire trees falling, posing a threat to nearby structures, vehicles, and individuals.
  • Increased Pest Infestation: Neglected trees are more susceptible to pest infestations as they provide a favorable environment for insects and diseases to thrive. Wood-boring insects, fungi, and bacteria can weaken the tree's structure, making it more prone to damage and even death.
  • Interference with Utility Lines: As neglected trees grow, their branches and roots can interfere with utility lines such as power lines and cables. This not only disrupts the functioning of these services but also poses a significant safety risk, as contact with electrical wires can result in electrocution or fires.
  • Obstructed Views and Accessibility: Neglected trees can obstruct views and limit accessibility to certain areas of the property. Overgrown branches can block natural light, obstruct windows, and hinder the growth of other plants. Additionally, unruly roots can damage walkways, driveways, and underground pipes.
  • Spread of Diseases: Neglected trees can serve as a breeding ground for various diseases that can spread to other plants in the vicinity. This can lead to a decline in the overall health and vitality of the landscape, affecting the aesthetic appeal and value of the property.

By understanding the potential dangers of neglected trees, homeowners can take proactive measures to ensure the well-being of their trees and the overall safety of their property. Regular tree inspections, proper pruning techniques, and timely professional tree services are essential in maintaining healthy, beautiful, and hazard-free trees.

Tree Cleanup Techniques for Maintaining a Healthy Landscape

Proper tree cleanup is essential for maintaining a healthy landscape. It involves more than just trimming branches; it requires a thorough understanding of tree biology and the specific needs of different species. By employing the right techniques, you can promote the overall health and longevity of your trees while also enhancing the aesthetic appeal of your property.

One of the key techniques in tree cleanup is pruning. Pruning involves selectively removing branches to improve the shape, structure, and health of the tree. This process helps to eliminate dead, damaged, or diseased branches, which can be a potential hazard and a source of infection for the rest of the tree. Pruning also allows for the removal of excessive growth and promotes air circulation and sunlight penetration, which are crucial for the tree's overall vitality.

Another important aspect of tree cleanup is the removal of tree debris. This includes fallen branches, leaves, and other organic matter that can accumulate around the base of the tree. Removing debris not only improves the appearance of your landscape but also prevents the buildup of moisture, which can lead to the development of fungal diseases. Regular debris removal also reduces the risk of pests and rodents finding a habitat in your trees.

In addition to pruning and debris removal, proper tree cleanup involves inspecting for signs of disease or pest infestation. Early detection is crucial in preventing the spread of diseases and addressing pest problems promptly. Regular inspections allow you to identify issues such as fungal infections, insect damage, or signs of nutrient deficiencies. By taking appropriate measures, such as applying treatments or removing affected branches, you can protect the health of your trees and prevent further damage.

Lastly, tree cleanup includes the proper disposal of removed branches and debris. This is an important step in preventing the spread of diseases or pests to other trees in the vicinity. Disposing of tree waste appropriately, such as through composting or professional tree removal services, ensures that any potential threats are properly contained and mitigated.

In conclusion, tree cleanup techniques are essential for maintaining a healthy landscape. Pruning, debris removal, disease and pest inspection, and proper waste disposal all play a crucial role in promoting tree health and preserving the beauty of your property. By investing in regular tree cleanup, you can enjoy the benefits of a thriving landscape for years to come.

Trees, although beautiful and beneficial, can pose risks during severe weather conditions or when left unattended. Proper tree cleanup ensures that any hazardous tree limbs or debris are promptly removed, reducing the chances of property damage and ensuring the safety of both your property and its occupants.

Preventing Structural Damage

One of the primary reasons why tree cleanup is crucial is its ability to prevent structural damage to your property. During storms or strong winds, weak or dead tree limbs can break off and fall onto your house, garage, or other structures. Maintaining Aesthetics and Property Value

Furthermore, well-maintained trees can increase the value of your property, making tree cleanup a worthwhile investment in the long run.

By prioritizing tree cleanup, you can ensure the safety of your property while enjoying the beauty and benefits that trees bring to your surroundings.

How Tree Cleanup Enhances the Aesthetics of Your Property

When it comes to maintaining the beauty and appeal of your property, tree cleanup plays a crucial role. Beyond just trimming, tree cleanup involves a comprehensive approach to removing debris, dead branches, and other unsightly elements from your trees and surrounding areas.

1. Enhancing Curb Appeal

One of the immediate benefits of tree cleanup is the enhancement of your property's curb appeal. Overgrown or unkempt trees can create an untidy and uninviting appearance, detracting from the overall aesthetics of your landscape. By removing dead branches, fallen leaves, and other debris, tree cleanup helps to create a clean and well-maintained look that can significantly improve the visual appeal of your property.

2. Promoting Tree Health

Regular tree cleanup is not only about appearance but also about the health of your trees. Dead or diseased branches can pose a risk to the overall well-being of your trees and increase the likelihood of pest infestations or diseases spreading. By removing these potentially harmful elements, tree cleanup promotes the health and longevity of your trees, ensuring their continued beauty for years to come.

3. Creating a Safe Environment

Tree cleanup also plays a crucial role in creating a safe environment on your property. Overhanging branches, fallen leaves, and other debris can pose hazards, especially during severe weather conditions. By removing these potential dangers, tree cleanup helps to reduce the risk of accidents, such as falling branches or slippery paths, making your property safer for both residents and visitors.

In conclusion, tree cleanup goes beyond just trimming and is an essential aspect of maintaining the aesthetics of your property. By enhancing curb appeal, promoting tree health, and creating a safe environment, tree cleanup contributes to the overall beauty and functionality of your landscape.

Choosing the Right Tree Cleanup Service for Your Needs

When it comes to tree cleanup in Houston, finding the right service for your specific needs is crucial. Trees are an integral part of our environment, providing shade, beauty, and oxygen. However, they can also become a hazard during storms, or when their branches or limbs are damaged or diseased. Hiring a professional tree cleanup service can ensure that your trees are properly maintained, and any potential risks are mitigated.

Evaluating Experience and Expertise

One of the first factors to consider when choosing a tree cleanup service is their experience and expertise in the field. Look for companies that have been in business for several years and have a track record of successfully handling tree cleanup projects. Experienced professionals will have the necessary skills and knowledge to assess the condition of your trees, identify potential risks, and provide appropriate cleanup and maintenance solutions.

Checking for Proper Licensing and Insurance

It is important to verify that the tree cleanup service you choose is properly licensed and insured. This ensures that they adhere to industry standards and regulations, and provides protection for both you and the workers in case of any accidents or damages during the cleanup process. Request proof of insurance and licensing before hiring a tree cleanup service to ensure they are qualified and reliable.

Additionally, it is recommended to choose a tree cleanup service that has liability insurance. This protects you from any potential liability in case of accidents or damages that may occur during the cleanup process.

By evaluating the experience, expertise, and licensing of tree cleanup services, you can make an informed decision and choose the right service for your specific tree cleanup needs. Remember to also consider factors such as customer reviews, pricing, and the availability of additional services, such as stump removal or debris hauling. Taking the time to choose the right tree cleanup service will help ensure the safety and health of your trees, as well as the overall aesthetics of your property.
