Like this particular dollar tree, especially for the cards, but never staffed enough for walk-in quick service

Our trees were cut with the most professional care and quality . After seeing our trees two of our neighbors also got their trees cut . The company and staff were very professional and removed all of the limbs and debris for the property tree landscaping rings . One tree had an issue and they seal the cut to prevent any further damage or disease.

I worked here from Oct 16th 2017 until the friday before Christmas 2017. They treat the hard workers very poorly. After busting my butt for them even on days off... Sue cut my hours down to 8 hours total for two weeks. When i text Sue about my hours in messenger via Facebook two Sundays before Christmas, she chose not to reply. My keys where stolen by a coworker the same Sunday i saw my hours where drastically cut. The same one who didnt help look for them, or make any announcements to help recover them. I told management who i felt took my keys. Well guess what. 3 days later that same employee found my keys... Then management enforces of zero tolerance by telling co-workers what others say and that coworker retaliates using her voice size and shade to try and intimidate everyone she doesnt know including customers. She tried it with me once. She is why i chose to be weekend closer only and who told me Connie wont promote you because your black Sure does make me wonder. The management and use to be management are all two faced. They kick each other every chance they get. Talk so badly about one another as well as the guest who visit that location. Many of you have heard them. You will be treated short and or rude unless they know you, Connie is there or on the way, or you happen to be checked out my a new employee who hasnt been corrupted. Also many of the reviews here are from managements friends and family. Real talk i know for a fact because i had management all over my facebook until i discovered their shade and i chose to remove them. In a post below there is a woman who comes in with coupons for a charity. Yvonne. I was there the day Lisa was rude to you and i worked the night you came in with another female near closing time. Myself and Millie rang you out tho Millie had to jump on my register because the order took so long because of the coupons. I smiled talked so did Millie we didnt get out of there until after 11pm that night. You told us what happen with Lisa and i confirmed it but nothing was done to change it. I havent seen you back at that location since. For our help that night you gave both Millie and i some products you purchased for relief in PR. I miss my regular customers and the chance i use to have to help brighten someone elses day. The line could be 7 long and customers would stay in my line even after hearing shouts from management and rude coworkers that their lines are open. One lady came in and went off on Sue (the store manager) for not having help for me with a line nearly to the freezer. It wasnt the first time or the last. This is a view from the inside. You know when someone cares about you as a person. Being loyal doesnt mean be a fool. If i could give zero stars I would for sure based on how i saw customers treated. Spoken badly about. A woman and her child where being followed by a male the week before Christmas and called into the dollar tree asking for the security video to help police identify the male following them. I was there when the call came in and heard the conversation. There are NO CAMRAS in this location at all. Those things in the drop ceiling are just that things. No security period. At night there are no lights on in that half of the parking lot and i was the regular weekend closer. Both the acting manager the night the call came in, as well as the store manager gave this family the run around with no help what so ever rather than be honest about the security and safety of the customers and the store. Accessing the inside of the store is as simple as pushing the glass with one finger. No joke. I was doing the job for the love of the customers. I can tell a lot more maybe this will get the attention of Connie the head boss to make some positive and productive changes. I miss you all. Have a safe and Happy New year! Love Ace

I called the # I found online, spoke to someone & they said someone would be out within the hour . It wasnt even an half hour later & the plumber was here, which I liked ! Didnt even check anything inside, just went off what we thought, that the drain was clogged somewhere between ours & where it goes to the citys main pipe . He said he was positive he could get it, but it would cost $300 ! We agreed & watch him struggle for almost an hour before a 2nd guy showed up to help . His snake kept getting stuck on things, so they got out a even bigger one that the 2nd guy brought with him . The main problem was baby wipes and tree roots ! He said he was able to unclog it but eventually we would have more problems with the tree roots continuing to grow in the pipes . He suggested we buy some Root X, which eats away at the roots . It wasnt even 2 days later & we were having the same problems as before tree landscaping rings ! So he didnt unclog it like he had claimed ! I looked at the paper work to see what it said about having them come back out if the problem wasnt taken care of & the guy had wrote on the slip that he couldnt guarantee the work because of the root infiltration . Why is the work guaranteed for things that are our fault such as baby wipes, hair, etc, but not guaranteed for things that arent our fault & we have no control over, such as the tree roots ? Seems backwards to me ! The men were friendly and prompt showing up, but very expensive especially if tree roots end up being the problem ! Hopefully the Root X does the trick!

What to Expect During a Tree Service Inspection

When scheduling a tree service inspection for your property in Houston, it is important to know what to expect during the process. A thorough tree service inspection involves a detailed assessment of the trees on your property to determine their overall health, potential risks, and the necessary actions to ensure their well-being.

During the inspection, a certified arborist will carefully examine each tree, taking note of any signs of disease, decay, or structural issues. They will assess the tree's overall condition, including its trunk, branches, and roots, to identify any potential hazards that could pose a risk to your property or the surrounding environment.

Tree service inspections also involve evaluating the tree's growth patterns and its interaction with the surrounding landscape. The arborist will consider factors such as the tree's proximity to buildings, power lines, and other structures, as well as its impact on neighboring trees and vegetation. By analyzing these factors, the arborist can provide recommendations for pruning, trimming, or removal to enhance the safety and aesthetics of your property while promoting the health of your trees.

Additionally, during the inspection, the arborist may use specialized tools such as a resistograph or sonic tomography to assess the internal structure of the tree and detect any hidden decay or weakness. These tools provide valuable insights into the tree's structural integrity and help determine the appropriate course of action to mitigate potential risks.

Common Issues Found During Tree Inspections in Houston

When it comes to tree inspections in Houston, there are several common issues that arborists often come across. These issues can pose potential risks to both the tree and the surrounding property, making it crucial to address them promptly.

One of the most common issues identified during tree inspections is dead or dying branches. These branches can become hazardous as they are more prone to falling, especially during severe weather conditions. Removing these branches is essential to prevent any damage they may cause.

Another frequently encountered issue is tree decay. Decay can occur due to various factors, such as disease, pests, or physical damage. It weakens the structural integrity of the tree and increases the risk of it falling during storms. Arborists assess the extent of decay and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate the risk.

Improper pruning is another problem often found during tree inspections. Incorrect pruning techniques can lead to weak branch attachments and create entry points for diseases and pests. Arborists look for signs of improper pruning and provide guidance on proper pruning practices to promote tree health and longevity.

Additionally, tree inspections often reveal signs of root damage. Whether caused by construction, soil compaction, or invasive species, compromised roots can affect the stability and overall health of the tree. Arborists assess the extent of root damage and suggest appropriate remedies, such as root pruning or soil aeration.

Furthermore, tree inspections may uncover signs of pest infestation or disease. Common pests in Houston include bark beetles, webworms, and scale insects, while diseases like oak wilt and fire blight can also be prevalent. Arborists identify the specific pests or diseases affecting the tree and recommend suitable treatment options.

Overall, tree inspections in Houston aim to identify and address common issues that can compromise the health, stability, and safety of trees. By addressing these issues promptly, property owners can ensure the longevity and beauty of their trees while minimizing potential risks.
