Guide to Selecting Quality Tree Services and Tree Farms in Houston

Customer service is good . Stuff is in stock on the regular . Other than that when you walk into the store its always musty and funky like old milk and cheese . Pallets of products are always piled up everywhere . Trash and food particles all over the floor, shelves are always messy . Its like they dont even organize or straighten up anything, they just throw items out and call it a day . Im sure some customers mess stuff up, but come on, isnt that what staff is for ? To periodically check these things and fix as needed on a regular basis ? Ive been to 4 other Dollar Trees in San Antonio, and this one by far is the worst when it comes to cleanliness and organization palm leaves turning white . Dollar Tree is a great store but this location needs shaping up severely . Gives the other stores a bad name . Please take care of these issues asap if you care.

I’d say look for another company for your home repairs/improvements. Yes, they offer a variety of services, but the sections do not all seem to be good quality. I requested quotes for tree removal and another tree trimmed. Doesn’t seem like a difficult task to understand, and the representative said they can come to the home to look at the trees even without me being there. I asked for the first available appt, and they put me down for today Friday 9/1/23. The rep knew I would not be home, but my family would be sure to put the dog away. However, I was contacted by Justin, the arborist, who was upset that I will not be there. Said he likes to go over things and tried to reschedule the appt. I told him 1 tree we need down to the stumps and the other trimmed off the fence. Of course, Justin went on to talk about “sticker shock” and if I’m not there then he didn’t want to provide a quote without going over things so I won’t be sticker shock. Seems like a real salesman thing to say to try and get as much money out of you as possible. 1 tree down to stump, another tree trimmed up high to prevent hitting our fence, pretty clear cut. I canceled the arborist, and the tree and deck services. Not worth the headache.UPDATE:I was now contacted by the manager of the Lawn care section who wanted to speak about my experience. When it is mentioned about finding common ground to have me remove this review, this tells me they don’t care to have the truth out there. Yes, he explained why Justin wanted to have someone present during the estimate, which he claimed is not to get the most money from the client, but why make the situation more difficult then just providing a simple quote. Being able to discuss any questions over the phone should’ve been enough for Justin to give an accurate quote. For the manager to call simply to justify Justin’s response and request for the review to be taken down is beyond me. What was hard is the fact I canceled my estimate with the fence and deck repair services that ABC officers after this experience. The Handyman Service said they are a different company under the ABC name, but I couldn’t trust things after Justin.

As our family moved into a new home, many home projects and home issues flooded our to-do list tree service matthews nc . At the top of the list…tree trimming . A little over a year ago we bought a home with a lot of marginal oak trees clustered too close together in spots around the property. One of these spots had two trees leaning out and over the homes roof, with one of them lifting a concrete walkway right next to the house. We needed an arborist to assess their risk to be compliant with the towns requirements for removal, and we called out Tree Shepherds.Let me start by saying that Randy F is one of the most thoughtful arborists weve ever done business with. He came out and assessed all the trees on the property, produced a quote for removal along with a letter to the town explaining the risks, and trimming and care for all the other trees on our property. It was a lot of work, the trees had been in their natural state for a long time. Dont get me wrong thats fine, but they were not healthy due to the crowding and abundance of dead snags, bugs, etc. After receiving permission for removal from the town, we had Tree Shepherds out to do about half our tree trimming and care at the same time. This was mostly due to cost. The workers were fantastic, and did an amazing job cleaning the yard. Communication was perfect. Before time came to get the other half of our trees taken care of, a more budget friendly company came knocking at our door. For less than half the cost they took care of the other half, and I deeply regret it. A year after that, you can literally look at our trees and see which were cared for by tree shepherds. Theyre flush, healthy, and vigorous. The other companies heavy cut focus and lack of focus on trimming for growth really shows. Now one of those trees cared for by the budget company is on its last legs. Were nursing it with the help of tree shepherds, and perhaps nothing would have been able to save it regardless of who trimmed it. But its Tree Shepherds or no one for us from now on. I cant recommend them enough. Spend a little extra, get a lot more quality.
