Noodle tree has temporarily closed as you can see on their site. Ive gotten carryout from them over 20 times, and eaten in a handful of times. So much food in San Antonio has an assembly line, mass produced kind of feel even at smaller family style places. Noodle tree is made with love and care every-time and its always a pleasure finishing a bowl of their Ramen.Much love to Mike and his team, hoping to see yall open again very soon.

I have waited a long time to do this review . I wanted to get past the emotion of a very emotional situation and try to keep to the facts.I would never take anyone I loved and cared for this facility . I have had a loved one that was transferred due to safety/locked facility needs . He had dementia and brain damage, that put him in a category of patients with dementia and memory care needs. At first I felt bad for nurses . They are completely understaffed . I was there for 1-3 hours 6 days a week . One day I arrived and couldnt find my dad for about 15 minutes, no one knew where he was- there are only 2 halls . I finally found him in one of the bathrooms . He had made a mess of himself and the bathroom . He was irritated and embarrassed . It took a while for me to calm him down . The nurses and aides left me alone to deal with cleaning him and the bathroom . After I worked on it awhile, I insisted that they help . They were irritated and it took forever to get them to take over their responsibility . Often the bathroom off of the dining room was filthy and disgusting . When I brought it to their attention, they would say that it often was and was too hard to keep it clean.I supplied plenty of clean, new clothes, shoes and socks for his needs . Most of these were never used . I would find him in dirty, torn and often the same clothes . His shoes would go missing all the time- often disappearing within a day or 2 of me purchasing and bringing them to him . I was always told to fill out a complaint/comment form and they would be found iced trees . They never were . I was told that they would purchase him some more to replace them and they never did . All of his items were clearly labeled with his name . They told me that they regularly went through other rooms and returned things to rightful owners, my dads items never returned to him . His glasses and upper denture also had his name on them and were also items they disappeared. There were programs such as headphones to play music for clients that could get agitated in order to help them relax . If headphones got lost, they program was not continued . Earbuds are inexpensive, but would not be replaced and program would not continue . Searches for finding earbuds were never done as I was told them would be.One day before dinner I arrived to find my dad still sitting at the table from lunch . He was slumped in his chair, food from lunch all over him and the table also a mess from his lunch . He was so slumped that it had to be causing him pain in his bad back . I had to request help to get him situated and cleaned up . He had SAT THERE LIKE THAT MOST OF THE DAY WITHOUT ANYONE CHECKING ON HIM OR TAKING CARE OF HIM.These circumstances are just a few times that stand out, but there were many other situations that I could list.Last of all, when my dad passed away in this facility, I did not receive one call or card of condolence from any staff or the facility . I had been there 6 days a week for 9 months caring for my dad who had been there for 9 months . I considered us a team, a family and I did not receive any kind of contact . I was just called to come and pick up the last of his clothes- some of which had been boxed up were not even my dads . Needless to say, this last act of Peach Tree Place was in true fashion to the way they treated my father or myself in the 9 months of his stay.I dont care what kind of ranking they must be receiving from the state, this is not a facility that I would ever take my family to again . Ever.

Our experience with Steel City Landscaping started out great, but then went downhill over time due to a series of unfulfilled promises, poor communication, and low quality work. They are obviously a high volume cookie-cutter shop, and that is probably fine for many people, but in our case, really did not work out. Their on site teams were very nice, but communication between those teams and the main office was quite poor. This resulted in them destroying my daughters carefully cultivated lavender plants in her own garden, which we had made very clear was not to be included in the landscape maintenance service. We also had issues with incomplete removal of old unwanted invasive bulbs as part of a major landscaping project, and then not fulfilling promises Jordan made to remove them in the spring. Also, most of the perennials that they installed for us last spring, died over the winter, despite them being under contract to care for everything and despite them having recommended or approved the selection of the plants. If you dont really care about the specifics of your yard but just want it kept tidy, these folks are probably fine. But if you have specific requirements, like not trimming trees back to aggressively, or avoiding a personal garden, you should know that they probably wont actually honor those requests unless you personally go outside and supervise their crew every time they come over.

The Process of Tree Removal and Tree Trimming

When it comes to maintaining the health and aesthetics of your trees, tree removal and tree trimming are essential services to consider. Whether you have a tree that needs to be completely removed or one that requires some pruning and shaping, understanding the process involved can help you make informed decisions and ensure the safety of your property and surroundings.

Tree Removal

Tree removal is a complex process that requires careful planning and execution. It typically starts with a thorough assessment of the tree's condition by a professional arborist. The arborist will evaluate factors such as the tree's structural integrity, overall health, and proximity to buildings or power lines. Based on this assessment, they will determine the best approach to remove the tree safely.

The actual process of tree removal involves several steps. First, the area around the tree is cleared to ensure the safety of both the workers and the surroundings. Next, the tree is systematically dismantled, starting from the top and working downwards. This can be done by climbing the tree or using specialized equipment like cranes or aerial lifts, depending on the size and location of the tree.

Once the tree is removed, the stump is usually left behind. Stump grinding can be performed to eliminate the remaining portion, allowing for future use of the space or preventing the growth of new shoots. The debris from the tree removal is then typically hauled away or chipped for mulch, leaving your property clean and free from any potential hazards.

Tree Trimming

Tree trimming, also known as pruning, involves the selective removal of branches to improve the tree's structure, shape, and overall health. It is a delicate process that requires expertise to ensure the tree's integrity and vitality are maintained.

The process of tree trimming begins with a thorough inspection of the tree by an arborist. They will identify any dead, damaged, or diseased branches that need to be removed, as well as assess the overall shape and density of the tree's canopy. Based on their findings, the arborist will determine the appropriate pruning techniques to achieve the desired results.

During the trimming process, the arborist will use specialized tools to make precise cuts that promote healthy growth and minimize the risk of disease or future damage. They will also consider factors such as branch size, angle, and proximity to other branches or structures. The goal is to create a well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing tree while maintaining its natural form and function.

Common Tree Problems in Houston and How to Address Them

In Houston, trees face a variety of challenges that can affect their health and appearance. Understanding these common tree problems and knowing how to address them is essential for maintaining the beauty and vitality of your trees.

One common issue that trees in Houston may encounter is inadequate or improper pruning. Improper pruning techniques can lead to weakened branches, increased susceptibility to diseases and pests, and an overall decline in tree health. To address this problem, it is important to hire a professional tree service that follows industry best practices for pruning.

Another prevalent tree problem in Houston is root damage. Construction, landscaping activities, and even natural factors like heavy rainfall can disrupt the root system of trees, compromising their stability and nutrient uptake. Implementing proper root care measures, such as creating root barriers and avoiding soil compaction, can help prevent and address root damage.

Insects and diseases also pose significant threats to trees in Houston. Common pests like aphids, spider mites, and scale insects can cause leaf damage, defoliation, and even tree death if left untreated. Similarly, diseases like oak wilt and root rot can have devastating effects on tree health. Regular inspections by a certified arborist and timely treatment can help control these pests and diseases and protect your trees.

Furthermore, extreme weather conditions, such as hurricanes and droughts, can take a toll on trees in Houston. Strong winds and heavy rains can lead to broken branches and uprooted trees, while prolonged droughts can cause water stress and decreased vitality. To mitigate the impact of extreme weather, it is important to choose tree species that are well-adapted to Houston's climate and to implement proper watering and mulching practices.

By being aware of these common tree problems in Houston and taking proactive measures to address them, you can ensure the long-term health and beauty of your trees. Consulting with a professional tree service and arborist is highly recommended to diagnose specific tree issues and provide appropriate solutions.
