Emergency Tree Removal in Houston - Fast and Safe Tree Service

Nathan did an awesome job cutting a very large pine tree down for us which had died from the ice and the drought . He was so careful with our fence, property, etc how to revive a tree without leaves . Great job cleaning up afterwards . It was also very interesting to watch ! An artist at work ! You will be happy you chose Nathan!

Only interaction was while working in the Hieghts section of Hazelton noticed an unsitely dead tree in a front yard so I stopped and left one of my S T Tree servicecards with an estimate to remove it . Shortly after which I recievre a call from a restricted phone number and an older very ignorant man said . Sean you must play with yourself my son has a lawn and tree care bussibus and is going to do it for free . . So I dont know if his son plays with himself and he thinks that everyone with a tree service business does this but I assure you he is wrong . If that is any reflection of how his son Sonny acts and talks to people who mearly were trying to offer someone a free estimate then I certainly wouldnt hire him to take out my garbage much less do any kind of work on my property. Thank your father for this wonderful review . What a blessing he is to you and your business.

Hector and his team are quick, thorough, and willing to do additional yard tasks on the spot deer rubbing velvet off antlers . Our lawn looks awesome thanks in part to HPV Tree Service!

My issue stems from the fact that Green Tree Tennis Club (Green Tree) mistakenly accepted our reservation and didnt do enough to right the situation. We made the reservation and payed the $285.00 deposit on 16 May for a Friday 01 Jun bday party with approx 45 guests. We purchased invitations and sent them home with 35+ kids on 17 May. On 22 May we received a call from the Director, Courtney Mayer, explaining a mistake was made and Green Tree should have never agreed to the reservation as they normally dont schedule Friday afternoon parties. She proceeds to give us options for different days/times when we could have the party, failing to acknowledge the invitations had already been sent out, people were traveling to the party from out of town, and people, including myself, had already requested that day off from work. I ask if theyll refund our deposit to which she responds, Ill *consider* refunding your deposit if we cant agree on a new date. She then offers to uphold her (Green Trees) commitment for the original date on one condition – we agree to prepay for 50 guests. Well, that puts us between a rock and a hard place. Were thinking, no matter what, we have to have this party or were going to face a logistical nightmare attempting to reschedule the party and break our 8 yr olds heart in the process by pushing it further into the summer. Were coerced into accepting her offer and later, pay the additional $248. Between 30-35 ppl attend the party and I ask Courtney if a compromise can be reached considering the issue of overpaying stemmed from her companys mistake. She proceeded to scold me for having the gall to broach this topic. She said, people would kill to have the facility all to themselves as you do today and It cost us more to prepare for your party than what you paid for it. We had our daughters bday party at Green Tree the year prior and we could care less if theres concurrent parties. I told myself I would hold my tongue and just eat the overpayment but Courtney prodded me by being her usual pestering self. I was stringing up the pinata on the same tree as last year and she told me to move to another location. Turns out she needed to have one of her workers mow that area. What!? I stopped the gentlemen and politely asked if he could wait till the party was over to mow. He said, I have to... We do it every Fri at this time. Courtney, again, its not my problem you all mistakenly booked our party. We shouldnt have to deal with a loud lawnmower drowning out everyones conversations. In addition, its a significant safety hazard to have kids running / playing while the maintenance staff is using a lawnmower and pressure washer. And she reminded me to clean up after ourselves when the kids were finished hitting the pinata. Geez, I got it Courtney! This is after she asked a group of party guests to pick up trash that was there before we arrived. We brought in a speaker that we ended up not using. But, of course, Courtney had to chime in and remind us not to turn it up too loud. Youre killing me, Courtney! I never signed a contract designating 50 guests, so Im demanding a $50 refund for the 5 guests I overpaid for, plus $50 for the maintenance staff disrupting our party. Last year we undershot the # of guests and ended up paying extra when we checked out. Its unfair that Courtney makes you pay for extra guests but doesnt reimburse you for over estimating. I realize the allure of Green Tree when it comes to planning your event but I implore you, fellow San Antonians, we cant let Courtney Mayer continue to get away with her deceitful business practices as well as her unwelcoming, unsympathetic, combative disposition. Final Note: I saw Courtney taking pictures of the party guests. Not sure of her intentions, but no one signed an authorization form allowing her to post those anywhere.

The Importance of Emergency Tree Removal

Emergency tree removal plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of both people and property. Trees can become hazardous in various situations, such as severe weather conditions, disease or pest infestations, weakened structures, or natural disasters. When a tree poses an immediate threat to nearby structures, power lines, or roadways, prompt removal becomes essential to prevent accidents, property damage, and potential injuries.

Moreover, emergency tree removal also helps to maintain the overall health and vitality of the surrounding trees and vegetation. By removing a diseased or damaged tree promptly, the spread of diseases or pests can be minimized, protecting the overall ecosystem from further harm.

When to Call for Emergency Tree Removal

Recognizing the need for emergency tree removal in Houston is crucial to prevent potential disasters. Here are some situations that warrant immediate action:

  • Storm Damage: After a severe storm or hurricane, trees may become uprooted, have broken branches, or lean precariously. These unstable trees pose a significant risk and should be addressed promptly.
  • Diseased or Dying Trees: If a tree shows signs of extensive disease or damage, such as rotting, decay, or significant pest infestation, it is important to have it evaluated and removed if necessary.
  • Structural Instability: Trees with compromised structural integrity, such as large cracks, splitting trunks, or leaning at dangerous angles, should be assessed by professionals to determine if removal is necessary.
  • Immediate Threats: Any tree that poses an immediate threat to structures, power lines, or roadways should be considered an emergency and require immediate removal.

The weight and size of a fallen tree can cause severe damage to buildings, vehicles, and other structures. Moreover, the impact of a fallen tree can lead to serious injuries or even fatalities if someone happens to be in its path.

Property Damage

One of the most immediate risks of fallen trees is the potential for property damage. The sheer force of a tree falling can result in broken windows, damaged roofs, and structural collapses. In addition, fallen trees can also cause damage to fences, power lines, and other outdoor structures. It is crucial to address fallen trees promptly to minimize the extent of property damage and to prevent further hazards.

The Cost of Emergency Tree Removal: Factors to Consider and How to Save Money

When faced with the need for emergency tree removal, it is important to understand the various factors that can impact the cost of the service. While the price may vary depending on the size and complexity of the job, there are a few key considerations that can help you estimate the potential expenses involved.

Tree Size and Location: The size and location of the tree play a significant role in determining the cost of its removal. Larger trees require more manpower and specialized equipment, which can result in higher prices. Additionally, trees located near structures, power lines, or other obstacles may require extra care and precautions, further affecting the overall cost.

Urgency and Complexity: The urgency and complexity of the situation can also impact the cost of emergency tree removal. If the tree poses an immediate danger to people or property, it may require expedited service, which can come at a higher price. Similarly, factors such as the presence of multiple trunks, extensive branches, or the need for additional pruning or stump removal can contribute to the complexity of the job and influence the overall cost.

Time of Service: The time of day or week when the emergency tree removal service is required can also affect the cost. Services requested outside regular working hours, such as evenings or weekends, often come with additional charges. However, it is always essential to prioritize safety and address urgent situations promptly to prevent further damage or hazards.

How to Save Money: While emergency tree removal can be an unexpected expense, there are ways to save money without compromising the quality and safety of the service. One approach is to gather multiple quotes from reputable tree service companies to compare prices and services offered. Additionally, considering the regular maintenance of trees on your property can help prevent emergency situations, potentially saving you from higher costs in the long run.

Remember, when it comes to emergency tree removal, it is crucial to prioritize the safety of yourself and others. Always consult with a professional tree service company to assess the situation and provide an accurate estimate of the cost involved.
