Tree Service Professional Demeanor: Enhancing Job Satisfaction in Houston

On Friday, March 15, 2024, I attempted to shop with my 2 daughters at Dollar Tree’s Bartonsville location, arriving at appx . 5:45pm . We are avid Dollar Tree shoppers, spending at the least $250/week . We LOVE Dollar Tree! ! Unfortunately, on this evening between 6-6:15pm we encountered a very disrespectful employee by the name of “Kathy or Cathy” . Here is how the incident began… . I reunited with my beautiful 21yo and 13yo daughters, after shopping in a different aisle, and the eldest whispered to me that said employee approached them telling them ‘they cannot KEEP opening the nail polish’ and said ‘the glass is right there, there is no reason to pick up the nail polish’…. live potted pine trees . I then approached said employee to get clarification on the matter . “Kathy or Cathy” IMMEDIATELY became defensive and said she saw them OPEN the polish because she saw the brush out of the bottle and said she wouldn’t have approached them if she didn’t . I looked over to my girls for their response in front of her, and they both adamantly denied her claim . I believe them 100% . They are both MATURE and TRUSTWORTHY young ladies . The employee (referring to Kathy or Cathy), then VOLUNTARILY said she will pull up the video and show me . I allowed her the time to do just that . During the waiting period, we kindly returned the over $50 worth of highly desired items to their respective shelves . Upon returning to the register, I requested the video footage the employee offered…to no avail . The employee said she does not have access to the very footage she offered to show us, she now says she can only view the camera LIVE (it is obvious she only offered to show the video to support her false claim at the time) . I advised the employee, that I put everything in our carts back neatly on the shelves and will NOT be shopping at that location again and that I will be leaving a review of my experience, she replied she doesn’t care and DOES NOT CARE about the reviews!! ! She then stormed off with a cold look on her face, into the office, allowing the door to slam behind her . We then left, empty-handed after such a distasteful experience at one of our favorite establishments . The experience was insulting to say the least . “Kathy or Cathy”, lacks humility, she is not fit for customer service of any kind . There is no room for improvement, because she obviously does not think she is wrong . She left a terrible mark on the Dollar Tree brand . One employee should not leave such a negative effect on ANY customer . I look forward to hearing from Dollar Tree’s corporate office in search of a resolution and will be following up . Thank you for your time.

Bent tree is an amazing place for your kiddos! We have a one year old and three year old who go there and we have been beyond pleased with the care of their teachers and the entire staff. We observe the rooms on a regular basis when picking up the kids and I love knowing the teachers are taking well care of my kids when they dont even know Im watching. We love the curriculum and feel a genuine care from the Director to the Chef to the Teachers...they are all awesome! I also love how it always smells clean! Not sure how that is possible with so many kids attending but its extremely impressive!!!! We love Bent Tree. Easy 5 out of 5 stars!!!!!

Be advised the following is a bit of a long read, but in my opinion well worth the time . Whether you are in a similar position as I found myself in or just looking for an “Honest, Professional and Courteous” company that has “Pride” in what the do . I Highly Recommend reaching out to Tim Robinson. In the process of preparing to sell my home, in the Indian Creek Section of Levittown, PA (Bristol Township - BT), amongst the numerous required local authority office pre-sale inspections the most difficult to abide by/have said violations corrected was from the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority (LBCJMA) - Sewer Department. We purchased our home in April 1993 and thru the years weve made many improvements to both our home and property.Relative to the LBCJMA violations were:1-The shed/mini-barn (1st floor 12X12, on 6 concrete 12X16 slab, 2nd floor 12X16) was in violation as it (roughly 1 of the back wall/slab) was located on the sewer easement . The report just for the shed read, “remove concrete floor, or move, or demolish shed.” Understand this shed is no little building, it is insured for 10% of the value of the home and to me it was more valuable than the 10% being my now deceased father-in-law and I built it from the first shovel in the ground to the last roofing nail on the shingles, totally hand constructed on-site, stick built . I must mention in the Spring of 1994 I obtained the required permits from BT to build it . Once completed BT inspected and granted Final Approval….2-Across the back of our property, which backs up to Bristol-Oxford Valley Road (a.k.a . Levittown Drag Strip…), there were 2 plant beds which were in violation as they (approximately 1- 90’X10’ and 2- 80’X4’) too were located on the sewer easement . Understand, to me the value of these two planters far outweighed that of the shed because of the love and care that my lovely bride (from our marriage 7/1/1989 until her passing 6/21/2020), with occasionally a little help from me to plant things, developed these planting beds and lovingly maintained them throughout our time here . Not just for their beauty, but in an effort to help reduce the noise from the Drag Strip starting line (Cinder Lane…).In 3 days, Tim and his Team, Hector and Santiago, performed the following:-Day one: raised the shed, demolished the concrete, loaded it onto the truck, installed a ¾” gravel bed and set the shed back “exactly” where it was originally constructed . Mind you, when Hector and Santiago left at the end of the day, outside of seeing the gravel, you wouldn’t have known anyone had been on my property.-Day two: compacted the gravel in the shed, cut down all trees and large shrubs in “violation”, loaded on the truck and removed from the property . Once again at the end of the day, you wouldn’t have known they were there.-Day three: pulled all stumps, removed debris, loaded on the truck, tidied up the area, seeded and job complete.End result: LBCJMA approved corrections performed and the shed remained . I can now go to closing and move.Tim is professional, knowledgeable, polite, honest, caring, understanding and stands by his quoted price . Hector and Santiago are like Tim bagworms in house . I must add, after all work was done I stopped by to chat with my neighbors (original homeowners and in their mid-80s) the Mr . of the house told me “I was helping my wife into the car the other day and one of the guys working saw me, he stopped what he was doing to help me help my wife get into our car” . I cannot say enough about Robinson Landscape.I’ll close with; they made a situation, which I had no idea what to do about, and one that was also emotionally painful, easier than I could have wished for . Lastly, price, if I listed what the price was Tim’s phone would never stop ringing, really.Give them a call - you won’t be dissatisfied. Thanks to Tim, Hector and Santiago I can now move on to closing.

This Dollar Tree is under new management and I most certainly can see it. The aisles are clear and easily navigated. I love that any handicapped person may easily shop in this location! They are more than a typical dollar store. They have longer aisles and way more variety of needed items. Generally speaking, if I’m looking for that “one item” that I don’t want to go to a big chain for, I’m able to discover it here. Don’t waste time going to other discount stores in the area. Dollar Tree should have just about anything you’re searching for. This happens time again. I love it and appreciate it!Management and customer service skills are top notch. They know their store and can help give suggestions on where to find things if they don’t carry something. I’m always greeted with a smile. One can go a long way! I shop at this location for variety and overall customer care. I highly recommend stopping by this Dollar Tree!!
