Emergency Storm Damage Response: Tree Service in Houston

These guys are great cfcs oakland ! 2nd year in a row and lawn always looks amazing . I recently needed some large trees planted and not only was Kyle able to do the job he also was able to get me a great price on our trees . Any job large or small, I would feel comfortable calling Anointed Lawn Care, knowing the job would be done right . Thanks for all the help this Summer.

I’ve been to Palm Tree a few times over the past few years that they have been open. Always been a pretty good experience, but today was ridiculous. As someone who has been in the customer service industry for almost 15 years, this boutique needs some serious help. I was going to chock it up to maybe the girls were having a bad day, but as I’m reading through other reviews it sounds like other customers have had the same experience.I was definitely greeted by a nice girl that walked in, but for the next 30 min as I shopped the store I wasn’t approached again..even after going in and out of the changing room 3 times. While other customers were being doted on. When I went to check out, there was I’m guessing she was an off duty employee speaking loudly to the manager about another co worker’s pay, and stating how this other co worker stated she “wasn’t making enough money there and needed a raise” ANYWAY this is WAY too much personal information to be speaking about in front of other employees, let alone CUSTOMERS! This was wild to me. As I’m standing at the check out counter waiting for a couple of minutes listening to them loading argue about another employee’s compensation the manager comes sees I’m waiting at the register and looks around to the other 4 girls standing around and says “can whoever’s customer this is come ring her up” not acknowledging me whatsoever. The girl that checked me out was very sweet and I could tell she was embarrassed.I honestly can’t even believe I went through w my transaction after listening to all of this. I never write reviews, so for me to have that bad of an experience for me to take the time out of my busy day to write this is saying something. I will never be going back.

The two-stars are for Mikes telephone manner - which is very polite and professional - but the missing three stars are for running the business as a whole.Mike cancelled appointments on me 3 times - the first for his truck being in the shop (I get it) . The second he didnt contact me until AFTER the appointment had passed (I had to excuse myself from plans to get home in time, but it was a waste), saying that a tree had fallen on his own house and that needed to be taken care of (I get it) . The third time, I contacted him via text an hour before the appointment asking to confirm the appointment . No response . I sent another text asking for confirmation 30 mins later . No response mulch around palm trees . Again, I had to excuse myself (bringing my sons home from the lake early to be home in time) to make the appointment . I called 10 mins past the appointment time, and no answer . When Mike called back (fairly quickly, Ill give him that), he advised that due to high winds in the area, he had to take care of others trees on an emergency basis (I GET IT!).My problem is this: I understand that my issue was low priority comparatively . HOWEVER, I was scheduled well in advance . He should have known that I was now arranging my life around this schedule . He would have known earlier in the day that he would not have made it and cancelled in advance.Come to find out, he is not a certified arborist and cannot treat my trees anyway ! So this has been a huge waste of time.Mike - thank you for your apology and polite telephone manner, but this was a poor way to handle your customer on too many occasions.

Eric and his wife showed up promptly as promised and did a wonderful job on two very tall trees on our property. Eric cut large 20ft plus limbs, as well as trimmed up both tree’s. They cut up the wood for us on the larger pieces leaving firewood and hauled away the remaining. They did a fantastic job! I highly recommend using their services!!! Pricing was beyond fair. I was so pleased I left more than what he charged for a job well done with same day service!!!

When a severe storm passes through Houston, it can leave behind a trail of destruction, especially for trees. Strong winds, heavy rain, and lightning can cause extensive damage to trees, making them hazardous and unstable. In such situations, prompt tree service becomes crucial to ensure the safety of both people and property.

1. Prevention of Further Damage

After a storm, damaged trees can pose a significant risk. Broken branches, uprooted trees, or weakened trunks can easily fall, causing further damage to buildings, vehicles, or even people. Prompt tree service professionals have the expertise to assess the extent of damage and take necessary actions to prevent any additional harm.

2. Restoration of Safety

Storm-damaged trees can create hazardous conditions, such as obstructed roads or power lines, making it unsafe for residents and emergency responders. Immediate tree service can help restore safety by removing fallen trees, clearing debris, and ensuring that paths are accessible for vehicles and pedestrians.

Assessing and Mitigating Tree Hazards Post-Storm

After a storm, it is crucial to assess and mitigate any potential tree hazards to ensure the safety of both people and property. Trees can become weakened or damaged during severe weather events, and it is important to take the necessary steps to identify and address these hazards.

Assessing tree hazards involves a thorough examination of the trees on your property. This includes inspecting for any visible signs of damage, such as broken or hanging branches, split trunks, or uprooted trees. It is also important to consider the overall health and stability of the tree, as weakened or diseased trees are more prone to falling or causing further damage.

In addition to visual inspections, it may be necessary to seek professional assistance from tree service experts who can conduct a more detailed assessment. They have the knowledge and experience to identify hidden dangers, such as internal decay or structural weaknesses, that may not be immediately apparent.

Once tree hazards have been identified, appropriate mitigation measures can be implemented. This may involve pruning or removing damaged branches, reinforcing weak tree structures, or, in some cases, complete tree removal. The goal is to eliminate or minimize potential risks while preserving the health and aesthetics of the trees.

It is important to note that assessing and mitigating tree hazards should be done by qualified professionals who are trained in tree care and have the necessary equipment and expertise. Attempting to address these hazards without proper knowledge and tools can be dangerous and may result in further damage or personal injury.

Minimizing Risks and Further Damage

Tree removal requires careful planning and execution to minimize risks and prevent additional damage. This may involve roping down branches, using cranes for large trees, or utilizing specialized techniques to control the direction of falling trees.

Tree Trimming and Pruning: Restoring Health and Aesthetics

Tree trimming and pruning are essential practices in maintaining the health and aesthetics of trees. By carefully removing specific branches, these techniques help to restore the vitality of trees while enhancing their overall appearance.

Improving Tree Health

Regular tree trimming and pruning promote the well-being of trees by removing dead, diseased, or damaged branches. These branches not only detract from the tree's appearance but can also pose a risk to the tree's overall health. By eliminating these compromised branches, the tree can redirect its resources to healthier areas, allowing for new growth and improved vitality.

Enhancing Tree Aesthetics

Tree trimming and pruning also play a significant role in enhancing the visual appeal of trees. By selectively removing certain branches, arborists can shape the tree's canopy, creating a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing structure. This process can also help to open up the tree's crown, allowing more sunlight and airflow to reach the inner branches, resulting in a healthier and more vibrant tree.

Additionally, tree trimming and pruning can help to control the size and shape of trees, ensuring they do not encroach on nearby structures or obstruct power lines. By maintaining a proper structure and size, trees can coexist harmoniously with their surroundings, reducing the risk of potential hazards and property damage.
