Thank you Fairless Hills Garden Center!

I wanted to write a review about my experience. I know this may be a long review, but you see, we have this massive tree, a tree we love because of the shade it provided and amount of birds that came to sit and sing in the top. However, as you can see, it is next to our swimming hole nestled tightly in this space in our messy little yard. The tree itself wasn’t very friendly as it would drop little sticky nuts that made a mess everywhere, drop its leaves in our pool and had roots that loved to grow and stretch its legs up through the pavers in our yard. It wasnt always this big and had not been trimmed like it should have been. We did still love it and were sad at the thought of letting it go. We called Golden Tree Maintenance, and Chris came quickly to offer advice and confirmed this messy tree needed to go. They gave us an estimate and gave us time to think about it, remember we loved this huge tree and had watched it grow for over ten years. The day came for them to come, and to my amazement, it was fun to watch how skillfully these guys swung from branch to branch using safety ropes and teamwork. They carefully removed it without damage to our swimming hole or the fence. I was delighted to see how speedy they worked and how friendly the crew was. They even left us with a small piece that they squared up so I can use as a little seat to remember our beloved tree. The guys cleaned up all the mess from cutting down the tree and were gone quickly. I could tell they had done this many times before, and if you need a tree trimmed or a tree loved or not to be gone, I would absolutely recommend you give Golden Tree a call and let them clean up your trees or take them down with ease. Our yard now feels bigger and it is much more bright. I am thrilled to have a company that I can trust and will forever now call on when my other tree need a trim.

Have used saber tree service three times myself and have some more trees close to my house to take down yet . I have been very pleased with the Eli and Saber tree service dr davey amarillo . Prices are very reasonable, he is prompt and very careful when working close to the house . He has access to bucket truck if needed . Does not leave a mess when he completes the job . My church has also used him and were well satisfied with the results and price . I would recommend this tree service very highly.

I worked here from Oct 16th 2017 until the friday before Christmas 2017. They treat the hard workers very poorly. After busting my butt for them even on days off... Sue cut my hours down to 8 hours total for two weeks. When i text Sue about my hours in messenger via Facebook two Sundays before Christmas, she chose not to reply. My keys where stolen by a coworker the same Sunday i saw my hours where drastically cut. The same one who didnt help look for them, or make any announcements to help recover them. I told management who i felt took my keys. Well guess what. 3 days later that same employee found my keys... Then management enforces of zero tolerance by telling co-workers what others say and that coworker retaliates using her voice size and shade to try and intimidate everyone she doesnt know including customers. She tried it with me once. She is why i chose to be weekend closer only and who told me Connie wont promote you because your black Sure does make me wonder. The management and use to be management are all two faced. They kick each other every chance they get. Talk so badly about one another as well as the guest who visit that location. Many of you have heard them. You will be treated short and or rude unless they know you, Connie is there or on the way, or you happen to be checked out my a new employee who hasnt been corrupted. Also many of the reviews here are from managements friends and family. Real talk i know for a fact because i had management all over my facebook until i discovered their shade and i chose to remove them. In a post below there is a woman who comes in with coupons for a charity. Yvonne. I was there the day Lisa was rude to you and i worked the night you came in with another female near closing time. Myself and Millie rang you out tho Millie had to jump on my register because the order took so long because of the coupons. I smiled talked so did Millie we didnt get out of there until after 11pm that night. You told us what happen with Lisa and i confirmed it but nothing was done to change it. I havent seen you back at that location since. For our help that night you gave both Millie and i some products you purchased for relief in PR. I miss my regular customers and the chance i use to have to help brighten someone elses day. The line could be 7 long and customers would stay in my line even after hearing shouts from management and rude coworkers that their lines are open. One lady came in and went off on Sue (the store manager) for not having help for me with a line nearly to the freezer. It wasnt the first time or the last. This is a view from the inside. You know when someone cares about you as a person. Being loyal doesnt mean be a fool. If i could give zero stars I would for sure based on how i saw customers treated. Spoken badly about. A woman and her child where being followed by a male the week before Christmas and called into the dollar tree asking for the security video to help police identify the male following them. I was there when the call came in and heard the conversation. There are NO CAMRAS in this location at all. Those things in the drop ceiling are just that things. No security period. At night there are no lights on in that half of the parking lot and i was the regular weekend closer. Both the acting manager the night the call came in, as well as the store manager gave this family the run around with no help what so ever rather than be honest about the security and safety of the customers and the store. Accessing the inside of the store is as simple as pushing the glass with one finger. No joke. I was doing the job for the love of the customers. I can tell a lot more maybe this will get the attention of Connie the head boss to make some positive and productive changes. I miss you all. Have a safe and Happy New year! Love Ace

Living in Houston, having trees in your backyard can be a beautiful and beneficial addition to your property. However, it is crucial to understand the importance of removing tree hazards to ensure the safety of your home, family, and neighbors.

Backyard tree hazards can pose significant risks, especially during extreme weather conditions that Houston often experiences, such as hurricanes, thunderstorms, and strong winds. Trees with weak branches or structural issues can easily break or fall, causing damage to your property, vehicles, or even harm to individuals nearby.

  • One of the main reasons to remove backyard tree hazards is to prevent accidents and injuries. Falling branches or entire trees can result in serious harm, especially if they land on someone or cause structural damage to buildings.
  • Removing tree hazards also helps to protect your property from potential damage. A falling tree can easily break windows, damage rooftops, or even collapse parts of your house.
  • Moreover, removing tree hazards improves the overall health and vitality of your trees. By eliminating weak or diseased branches, you allow the tree to focus its resources on healthy growth, which enhances its ability to withstand future storms or other stressors.
  • Additionally, addressing backyard tree hazards can have a positive impact on the surrounding environment. Diseased or damaged trees can spread their illnesses or pests to other nearby trees, leading to a decline in the overall ecosystem. Removing these hazards helps to maintain the health and balance of the local flora and fauna.

The Dangers of Unattended Trees in Residential Areas

When it comes to maintaining a safe and pleasant living environment, it is crucial to pay attention to the condition of the trees in residential areas. Trees, although beautiful and beneficial, can pose potential hazards if left unattended.

Property Damage and Personal Injury Risks

Unattended trees in residential areas can become a serious threat to both property and personal safety. Over time, trees can develop weak branches or limbs that are prone to breaking off during strong winds or storms. These falling branches can cause significant damage to roofs, vehicles, and other structures nearby. Moreover, if a branch were to fall on an individual, it could result in severe injuries or even fatalities.

Electricity and Utility Line Interference

Another danger of unattended trees is their potential interference with utility lines. As trees grow, their branches can come into contact with power lines, telephone lines, and other utility cables. This poses a risk of electrical hazards, such as power outages, fires, or even electrocution. Additionally, tree branches interfering with these lines can disrupt communication services and cause inconvenience to residents.

It is essential to regularly inspect trees in residential areas to identify any potential risks. Pruning or removing weak, dead, or overgrown branches can help mitigate these dangers and ensure the safety of both property and individuals. Consulting professional tree service providers, equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools, is recommended for effective and safe tree maintenance.

When it comes to maintaining a safe and well-maintained backyard, it is important to be aware of potential tree hazards. Trees provide shade, beauty, and numerous environmental benefits, but they can also pose risks if not properly taken care of. By identifying potential tree hazards in your backyard, you can take proactive measures to prevent accidents and damage.

1. Leaning or Unstable Trees

One of the first signs of a potential tree hazard is a tree that is leaning or appears to be unstable. This can indicate weak root systems or structural issues that can lead to the tree falling or branches breaking off. If you notice a tree in your backyard that is leaning noticeably, it is important to have it inspected by a professional tree service to assess its stability.

2. Dead or Diseased Trees

Dead or diseased trees are not only unsightly, but they can also be hazardous. Dead trees can easily become weak and brittle, making them more susceptible to falling during storms or high winds. Diseased trees, on the other hand, can have weakened branches or compromised structural integrity. Regularly inspect your backyard for any signs of dead or diseased trees and have them removed by a professional tree service if necessary.

  • Look for signs of decay, such as mushrooms or soft wood
  • Check for dead branches or a lack of foliage
  • Observe if the tree has an overall unhealthy appearance

3. Overhanging Branches

Overhanging branches can pose a hazard to both people and property. These branches can become a potential danger if they are hanging over walkways, driveways, or structures. During storms or high winds, these branches can break off and cause damage. Regularly inspect your backyard for overhanging branches and have them trimmed or removed by a professional tree service.

4. Cracks or Splits

Cracks or splits in the trunk or major branches of a tree can indicate structural weaknesses. These weaknesses can lead to the tree or branches falling unexpectedly. If you notice any cracks or splits in the trees in your backyard, it is important to seek professional advice to determine if the tree needs to be removed or if measures can be taken to mitigate the risk.

By being vigilant and regularly inspecting your backyard for potential tree hazards, you can ensure the safety of your property and loved ones. If you are unsure about the health or stability of a tree, it is always best to consult with a professional tree service for an expert opinion and necessary action.
