Quick Professional Cleanup Tree Service in Houston

Wow . My encounter with owner, Sharon, has left me wondering whether shes got some rabies going on . I went to the camp office to pay parking and visitors fees so that I could visit with family members who had rented campsites . Sharon took my cash payment, and gave me a parking pass . She told me I absolutely could not leave the car where I had parked it in front of the office, even though I followed signs that read parallel parking only, pull forward, remarking that there is no parking for visitors . She told me to move the car over there, gesturing towards the other side of the driveway, where there was no identified parking area . When I asked for clarification whether she wanted me to park on the grass by the trees, she instantly began a confrontational tirade . She shook her finger at me and accused me of giving her attitude from the second I stepped in the door . This was bizarre and unfounded . She repeated several times that she has complete discretion over who gets in, and also threatened to eject me from the premises . I dont know where this came from, I had only asked a question so that I could understand where she wanted me to park . I pointed this out, said nothing further, and waited out the rant . Once she wound down, I moved the car, driving the whole way through the park to get to the opposite side of the driveway because it is one way only, 5 mph, as she told me . I was observed the whole time by owner, Jamie, from his 4-wheeler.I found out my camping family members also had issues with Sharon and Jamie . The family had rented four RV spots for four days . One of the four had to cancel last minute for a medical issue . They had expected to forfeit the deposit for that site, but had paid for the whole stay in advance will cypress mulch attract termites . The owners tried to keep the whole payment, not just the deposit, even though they had reassigned the unused spot to another unrelated camper . Nobody understood why the owners would put an unrelated RV in the middle of the other three reservations . The grounds didnt even look to be half full . I wonder whether it was meant to be spiteful.Jamie, on 4-wheeler, had also followed another visitors car into the campsite . He yelled at her for getting a toddler and an infant out of car seats to leave them with the family before returning to the office to register and pay . She only wanted to avoid repeated transfers in and out of carseats for this process . Did they really expect her to walk back carrying two babies and their diaper bags?Had I read the other reviews before going there, I would not have been surprised at the way the owners behave . As it was, I contacted KOA Corporate because I thought they should know how these owners are treating paying guests and representing the KOA name . I dont think they care . I got back a stock response, suggesting I should speak directly with the campground for resolution because it is an independently owned franchise . They also offered this gem, Please know that this experience is not necessarily indicative of the experience you will have at this campground again, nor does it reflect on what your experience will be at another KOA campground . Judging by the other reviews Ive now seen, it is EXACTLY the experience I should have expected, from Erie KOA, at least.Erie KOA is actually registered as a fictitious name being used by the Sharmie Corporation . It seems to me that good customer relations at Erie KOA are also fictitious . I will never go there again, my family will never go there again, and Im pretty sure the fellow RV-ers they network with will never go there at all.

The worst experience ever with Cody Trees..While they removed the tree limbs off our roof with no damage to gutters, there was additional damage to our roof, lawn, fences, carport and driveway. The more you asked the crew to be careful to the property, the worse it got… ( so when they didn’t worry about letting our horse out when opening gates or avoiding property damage, we had to get involved) The crew became defiant and rude, so we asked the company not to return to finish the project as they made unnecessary and unwarranted threats. A financial settlement was reached with them for the work they did perform and pleased we did not have to pay them full price for this bad situation… They accused us of harassment (when we were communicating with them to complete the project) and it was Bethany (Cody’s wife) who continued to send us unwanted text messages. Please be advised these are horrible and unprofessional owners and workers who do not tell the truth or care about good customer service.. We wish you good luck if you use them but beware….Update: After posting this very true review, I received a text and phone message from Bethany threatening to file a lawsuit if I did not remove my post… This is what you will deal with if you hire them… I am entitled to reveal my truth and please note I requested a receipt for the services they did provide and never received… If you want a trusted tree company use Shawnee Trees(this is Cody”s brother) as they are reasonable and reputable. I am sorry we decided not to use Shawnee Trees for our tree removal project, big mistake choosing Cody Trees.Update: This company will never admit to their mistakes, unprofessionalism and horrible customer service when a Client simply asks them not to damage their property and adhere to what was agreed to during consultation… Please note Cody nor Bethany were on site for our project, so they are unaware of the true circumstances that occurred.. There was no indication I would not pay them for work performed, this was their twisted thoughts and I advised them payment would be made upon project completion. However when the threats began, we decided it was best for them not to return to the property to complete the work, so settlement reached. I have used another company since them with no problems… I am now posting this review as when they performed the work and were threatening, we were afraid, but could no longer be silent..

Common Tree Issues in Houston and How to Address Them

Living in Houston, Texas, means having to deal with various tree issues throughout the year. From storm damage to diseases, trees in this region face several challenges that can affect their health and safety. Understanding these common issues and knowing how to address them is crucial for maintaining the beauty and integrity of your trees.

1. Storm Damage

Due to its unpredictable weather patterns, Houston often experiences severe storms, including hurricanes and strong winds. These weather events can cause extensive damage to trees, such as broken branches, uprooting, and splitting. In such cases, it is important to hire a professional tree service to assess the damage and perform necessary repairs or removals.

2. Insect Infestations

Houston is home to various tree-damaging insects, such as aphids, borers, and webworms. These pests can weaken trees, leading to leaf loss, stunted growth, and even death. Regular inspections by an arborist can help detect early signs of infestation. Insecticides and proper tree care practices, such as regular pruning and fertilization, can help address and prevent insect infestations.

3. Disease

Trees in Houston are susceptible to various diseases, such as Oak Wilt, Anthracnose, and Fire Blight. These diseases can cause leaf discoloration, wilting, and even death if left untreated. Identifying the specific disease affecting your tree is crucial for implementing the appropriate treatment methods, which may include pruning infected branches, applying fungicides, or providing proper tree nutrition.

4. Root Issues

Root problems, such as girdling roots and compacted soil, can severely impact the health and stability of trees. These issues can restrict nutrient and water uptake, leading to poor growth and susceptibility to other problems. Proper soil management, root pruning, and tree stabilization techniques can help address root issues and promote the long-term health of your trees.

By being aware of these common tree issues in Houston and taking proactive measures, you can ensure the well-being and longevity of your trees. Remember to consult with a professional tree service for accurate diagnosis and appropriate solutions.

The Cost of Hiring a Professional Tree Cleanup Service in Houston

When it comes to maintaining the beauty and safety of your property, hiring a professional tree cleanup service in Houston can be a wise investment. However, it's important to understand the cost associated with this service before making a decision.

The cost of hiring a professional tree cleanup service in Houston can vary depending on a few factors. One of the main factors is the size of the tree or trees that need to be removed or trimmed. Larger trees generally require more labor and equipment, which can lead to higher costs. Additionally, the complexity of the job, such as the location of the tree or the presence of nearby structures, can also impact the overall cost.

Another factor that can influence the cost is the type of tree service required. Some common tree services include tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, and debris cleanup. Each of these services may have different pricing structures, so it's important to discuss your specific needs with the tree cleanup service to get an accurate estimate.

In addition to the size and type of tree service needed, the experience and reputation of the tree cleanup service can also affect the cost. A well-established and reputable company may charge higher rates due to their expertise and quality of work. However, it's important to consider the value of hiring a professional service that can ensure the job is done safely and efficiently.

It's also worth noting that some tree cleanup services in Houston may offer additional services, such as emergency tree removal or tree health assessments. These additional services may come at an extra cost, but they can provide valuable benefits in terms of property safety and tree maintenance.

To get an accurate cost estimate for hiring a professional tree cleanup service in Houston, it's recommended to reach out to multiple companies and request quotes. Be sure to provide detailed information about the job requirements and ask for a breakdown of the costs involved. This will help you compare prices and make an informed decision that fits your budget and specific needs.
