Tree Service Backyard Tree Hazard Removal in Houston
Best service all around! I Highly recommend them to anyone Mr. Stanford is a fair and honest Man!
Wow. My encounter with owner, Sharon, has left me wondering whether shes got some rabies going on. I went to the camp office to pay parking and visitors fees so that I could visit with family members who had rented campsites. Sharon took my cash payment, and gave me a parking pass. She told me I absolutely could not leave the car where I had parked it in front of the office, even though I followed signs that read parallel parking only, pull forward, remarking that there is no parking for visitors. She told me to move the car over there, gesturing towards the other side of the driveway, where there was no identified parking area. When I asked for clarification whether she wanted me to park on the grass by the trees, she instantly began a confrontational tirade. She shook her finger at me and accused me of giving her attitude from the second I stepped in the door. This was bizarre and unfounded. She repeated several times that she has complete discretion over who gets in, and also threatened to eject me from the premises. I dont know where this came from, I had only asked a question so that I could understand where she wanted me to park. I pointed this out, said nothing further, and waited out the rant. Once she wound down, I moved the car, driving the whole way through the park to get to the opposite side of the driveway because it is one way only, 5 mph, as she told me. I was observed the whole time by owner, Jamie, from his 4-wheeler.I found out my camping family members also had issues with Sharon and Jamie. The family had rented four RV spots for four days. One of the four had to cancel last minute for a medical issue. They had expected to forfeit the deposit for that site, but had paid for the whole stay in advance. The owners tried to keep the whole payment, not just the deposit, even though they had reassigned the unused spot to another unrelated camper. Nobody understood why the owners would put an unrelated RV in the middle of the other three reservations. The grounds didnt even look to be half full. I wonder whether it was meant to be spiteful.Jamie, on 4-wheeler, had also followed another visitors car into the campsite. He yelled at her for getting a toddler and an infant out of car seats to leave them with the family before returning to the office to register and pay. She only wanted to avoid repeated transfers in and out of carseats for this process. Did they really expect her to walk back carrying two babies and their diaper bags?Had I read the other reviews before going there, I would not have been surprised at the way the owners behave. As it was, I contacted KOA Corporate because I thought they should know how these owners are treating paying guests and representing the KOA name. I dont think they care. I got back a stock response, suggesting I should speak directly with the campground for resolution because it is an independently owned franchise. They also offered this gem, Please know that this experience is not necessarily indicative of the experience you will have at this campground again, nor does it reflect on what your experience will be at another KOA campground. Judging by the other reviews Ive now seen, it is EXACTLY the experience I should have expected, from Erie KOA, at least.Erie KOA is actually registered as a fictitious name being used by the Sharmie Corporation. It seems to me that good customer relations at Erie KOA are also fictitious. I will never go there again, my family will never go there again, and Im pretty sure the fellow RV-ers they network with will never go there at all.

Introduction How To Help Evergreen Shrubs With Winter Burn
Living in Houston, having trees in your backyard can be a beautiful and beneficial addition to your property. However, it is crucial to understand the importance of removing tree hazards to ensure the safety of your home, family, and neighbors.
Backyard tree hazards can pose significant risks, especially during extreme weather conditions that Houston often experiences, such as hurricanes, thunderstorms, and strong winds. Trees with weak branches or structural issues can easily break or fall, causing damage to your property, vehicles, or even harm to individuals nearby.
- One of the main reasons to remove backyard tree hazards is to prevent accidents and injuries. Falling branches or entire trees can result in serious harm, especially if they land on someone or cause structural damage to buildings.
- Removing tree hazards also helps to protect your property from potential damage. A falling tree can easily break windows, damage rooftops, or even collapse parts of your house.
- Moreover, removing tree hazards improves the overall health and vitality of your trees. By eliminating weak or diseased branches, you allow the tree to focus its resources on healthy growth, which enhances its ability to withstand future storms or other stressors.
- Additionally, addressing backyard tree hazards can have a positive impact on the surrounding environment. Diseased or damaged trees can spread their illnesses or pests to other nearby trees, leading to a decline in the overall ecosystem. Removing these hazards helps to maintain the health and balance of the local flora and fauna.
The Dangers of Unattended Trees in Residential Areas
When it comes to maintaining a safe and pleasant living environment, it is crucial to pay attention to the condition of the trees in residential areas. Trees, although beautiful and beneficial, can pose potential hazards if left unattended.
Property Damage and Personal Injury Risks
Unattended trees in residential areas can become a serious threat to both property and personal safety. Over time, trees can develop weak branches or limbs that are prone to breaking off during strong winds or storms. These falling branches can cause significant damage to roofs, vehicles, and other structures nearby. Moreover, if a branch were to fall on an individual, it could result in severe injuries or even fatalities.
Electricity and Utility Line Interference
Another danger of unattended trees is their potential interference with utility lines. As trees grow, their branches can come into contact with power lines, telephone lines, and other utility cables. This poses a risk of electrical hazards, such as power outages, fires, or even electrocution. Additionally, tree branches interfering with these lines can disrupt communication services and cause inconvenience to residents.
It is essential to regularly inspect trees in residential areas to identify any potential risks. Pruning or removing weak, dead, or overgrown branches can help mitigate these dangers and ensure the safety of both property and individuals. Consulting professional tree service providers, equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools, is recommended for effective and safe tree maintenance.

Identifying Potential Tree Hazards in Your Backyard
When it comes to maintaining a safe and well-maintained backyard, it is important to be aware of potential tree hazards. Trees provide shade, beauty, and numerous environmental benefits, but they can also pose risks if not properly taken care of. By identifying potential tree hazards in your backyard, you can take proactive measures to prevent accidents and damage.
1. Leaning or Unstable Trees
One of the first signs of a potential tree hazard is a tree that is leaning or appears to be unstable. This can indicate weak root systems or structural issues that can lead to the tree falling or branches breaking off. If you notice a tree in your backyard that is leaning noticeably, it is important to have it inspected by a professional tree service to assess its stability.
2. Dead or Diseased Trees
Dead or diseased trees are not only unsightly, but they can also be hazardous. Dead trees can easily become weak and brittle, making them more susceptible to falling during storms or high winds. Diseased trees, on the other hand, can have weakened branches or compromised structural integrity. Regularly inspect your backyard for any signs of dead or diseased trees and have them removed by a professional tree service if necessary.
- Look for signs of decay, such as mushrooms or soft wood
- Check for dead branches or a lack of foliage
- Observe if the tree has an overall unhealthy appearance
3. Overhanging Branches
Overhanging branches can pose a hazard to both people and property. These branches can become a potential danger if they are hanging over walkways, driveways, or structures. During storms or high winds, these branches can break off and cause damage. Regularly inspect your backyard for overhanging branches and have them trimmed or removed by a professional tree service.
4. Cracks or Splits
Cracks or splits in the trunk or major branches of a tree can indicate structural weaknesses. These weaknesses can lead to the tree or branches falling unexpectedly. If you notice any cracks or splits in the trees in your backyard, it is important to seek professional advice to determine if the tree needs to be removed or if measures can be taken to mitigate the risk.
By being vigilant and regularly inspecting your backyard for potential tree hazards, you can ensure the safety of your property and loved ones. If you are unsure about the health or stability of a tree, it is always best to consult with a professional tree service for an expert opinion and necessary action.
