Tree Service in Houston: Convenient Venmo Payment for Lawn Care

I definitely do not recommend this company . I have lived in our house for 3 years . After the freeze we had a lot of dead garden plants and paid someone to redo our garden . They must have used bad quality fill dirt because our garden became riddled with weeds . We never had a single weed in the three years we’d lived here until they redid our garden . So we hired H&H Landscaping to fix this problem . I know some weeds are inevitable, but we hard weeds in every quarter inch . I hold H&H Landscaping all I want is for the weed issue to be gone . I don’t care what they have to do, my only concern is the mass amount of weeds . They assured me they could handle the job, that this was an easy job . We paid over $800 and all they did was hand pull the weeds and put mulch on top . They trimmed two trees and brought us a rose bush . That is it . They did this job on Thursday, July 20, by Sunday July 23 our garden already had a ton of weeds growing through . This is unacceptable and of poor quality . I texted to ask about this and they said to “keep an eye on it and weed when we see fit” . One of the men working on our garden told me to call them to come back every two weeks to weed the garden for us . What ? They distinctly told me they could take care of the weeds “no problem” . Well, we have a problem . There are still weeds, a ton of them . So I called my bank to withhold payment, and this was only after trying to reach out to have the problem resolved, and suddenly they were too busy to help cascade cedar mulch . They did finally send a crew out to put down the weed barrier, however they didnt have enough mulch to cover it, so the weed barrier is still poking through, and they only put weed barrier down on one half of the garden . so half my garden has an overgrowth of weeds . What an absolute waste of money . I could have done this and saved myself $600 . I was lied to and completely ripped off . I thought we were dealing with professionals but that is not what we experienced . I would not recommend them unless you need a tree trimmed . That’s about it . I have attached photos of the work done, and this is AFTER they came back out to fix the problem...It looks horrible and its just a month later . I was as polite as possible, and waited a long time to write a review because I didnt want to do it in anger, but I am still very upset and disappointed . They never reached back out to see if the job was satisfactory, they just seemed annoyed that I was asking them to do what I paid for and they seemed put out with me . I just want the job done right and I want what we paid for . Not this.September 13,2023I am responding to the reply I was given . This is quite frankly untrue . I told you guys I wanted my entire garden ripped out and only one row of bushes left because I did not want to deal with the weeds . I said sod the whole thing . YOUR man, said he did not have to do that . This was an EASY job and that he would take care of the weeds . He said hes done work for the University of Houston and this was a small job, he did not have to pull the weeds in order to get rid of the weeds, his crew could handle it . it was not until AFTER I complained about there being weeds that he went back on his previous statement and said oh actually I cant take care of the weeds . If that was true, then he should have pulled the garden and quoted me to sod the whole area instead of talking me out of that because he guarantied no weeds . As of today, no one has reached back out to me to correct this issue as was said in the reply . I also think it is worth mentioning that almost every single one of my bushes DIED after they came back and put in a root barrier . I have a sprinkler system so it was not the draught . Also, the other half of the garden (Where they did NOT put in a weed barrier) none of my bushes died on that side . So not only did they NOT do the job I paid them for, after coming back to remedy their mistake they killed my bushes . I will try to upload photos of all my dead bushes, next to my sprinkler system so they cant claim it was the draught and lack of water.

My review is going to be based on the customer service. One of their representatives, I believe her name was Clare, made my pretty bad day a little better with just how knowledgeable and understanding she was.Petco had everything I needed to nip my cats problem in the bud, hopefully for awhile . I spent a bit more than I wanted to, but this is my first pet and I go overboard for him, Hobo the cat has his own funds . Pets are family . I believe Petcos prices are manageable for I was taking care of and you cannot beat the sense of security I felt leaving because of their services. For those interested, here is what happened:I came in about a week ago and I was upset, because my cat Hobo, had managed to pick up fleas . He never goes outside, I didnt think it was possible and he has always been well kept, so I never noticed until that day . It just floored me, because we were going on a tiny vacation and I was worried about him already . Now I thought to myself, this makes a lot of sense . He was moody lately, he was scratching behind his ear more than usual..and he had been sleeping away from us on hardwood or tile . I felt awful. So I get ready to go back out, looking for places in the area that I can get to quickly and here is Petco at the top of the list with already good reviews.Petco was where I went before I even picked up Hobo, the morning of his homecoming, I was there buying food..a bed, a toy..a cat carrier-- I would have probably bought a cat tree if I felt that we could have got to the car.I walk in and after a few minutes of looking around aimlessly and ignoring everyone, because Im worried, I reach out to Clare mpede label . As soon as I speak up . she is smiling . I explain to her what I found..and she does not give me a Yuck expression or that blank stare . Those are actually my expressions . She is only, calm and understanding . Clare walks me back to the supplies they have. From there, it was a friendly, down to earth, and honest conversation . She gives me options that range from price to reviews. . and every question I ask, she has a good response as answer. So I pick up a spray for the house, a comb and the dreaded flea collar . All which have done their job, as Clare felt confident they would. The collar was the Seresto Collar for cats, which does have decent reviews and information . The comb was a generic comb and the spray was Adams Plus, Flea and tick spray. Then I pick up a toy and a new collar, just because he deserves it.A week has almost passed and he just seems happier overall . He hates his collar, of course, but I can see the difference in his attitude and his fur . I hope it continues to work.

I live in Corpus and was at a Dollar Tree near my house. I was informed by an associate at that Dollar Tree that this store had a seasonal item I was interested in. I called before heading to this store to confirm the item was in stock. The cashier informed me that they did have it in stock and it was in aisle 6 before hanging up on me. I drove all the way there and I see the item is on a U-boat with other seasonal items. I volunteered to get the item I needed and put everything back in order or if she herself could get the item for me. She stated she couldnt sell it because it wasnt out on the shelf yet. Spoke to the manager there as well and she too said she couldnt get it for me and to come back tomorrow morning when it would be out. I informed her I had called before heading out here and was told it was in aisle 6. The U-boat was at the register and not in aisle 6. I wasted my time and my gas. I used to be an assistant manager at Dollar Tree in Flour Bluff and I never turned away customers even if the item was in the stock room or there on the sales floor on the U-boat. Customer service was not met today. Going above and beyond for the customer is what we were taught when I worked there years ago.

Tips for Finding Reliable Tree Service Providers in Houston

When it comes to taking care of your trees, finding a reliable tree service provider is crucial. Whether you need tree trimming, removal, or any other tree-related services, it is important to choose a company that you can trust. Here are some tips to help you find reliable tree service providers in Houston:

1. Research and Check Credentials

Start by researching different tree service providers in Houston. Look for companies that have been in the industry for a long time and have a good reputation. Check if they have the necessary licenses and certifications to perform tree services. It is also recommended to read customer reviews and testimonials to get an idea of their past work.

2. Ask for Recommendations

Reach out to your friends, family, and neighbors who have recently used tree services. Ask them about their experiences and whether they would recommend a particular company. Word-of-mouth recommendations can be valuable in finding reliable service providers.

3. Get Multiple Quotes

Contact different tree service providers in Houston and request quotes for the services you need. It is important to get multiple quotes to compare prices and services offered. However, be cautious of extremely low prices, as they may indicate subpar quality of work.

4. Inquire about Insurance

Before hiring a tree service provider, make sure they have insurance coverage. This is important to protect yourself and your property in case of any accidents or damages that may occur during the tree service. Ask for proof of insurance and verify its validity.

5. Consider Experience and Expertise

Find out how long the tree service provider has been in business and inquire about their experience in handling similar tree care projects. Experienced professionals are more likely to provide high-quality services and have the necessary knowledge to deal with different tree issues.

6. Ask about Equipment and Safety Measures

Inquire about the equipment and tools that the tree service provider uses. A reliable company should have well-maintained and up-to-date equipment to ensure efficient and safe tree services. Additionally, ask about the safety measures they implement to protect both their workers and your property.

7. Understand the Services Offered

Make sure to have a clear understanding of the services offered by the tree service provider. Discuss your specific needs and ensure they can accommodate them. Additionally, inquire about any additional services they may provide, such as stump removal or emergency tree services.

By following these tips, you can increase your chances of finding a reliable tree service provider in Houston who will take care of your trees effectively and efficiently.
