This company was highly recommended by a friend of mine . I am glad I went with them . I had about 8 trees that needed trimming and one that needed to be cut down . 5 men worked very hard and took care of it in one day . They cleaned the yard and the roof afterwards and took all the branches and leaves away ptca san diego . They know what they are doing and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have waited a long time to do this review. I wanted to get past the emotion of a very emotional situation and try to keep to the facts.I would never take anyone I loved and cared for this facility. I have had a loved one that was transferred due to safety/locked facility needs. He had dementia and brain damage, that put him in a category of patients with dementia and memory care needs.At first I felt bad for nurses. They are completely understaffed. I was there for 1-3 hours 6 days a week. One day I arrived and couldnt find my dad for about 15 minutes, no one knew where he was- there are only 2 halls. I finally found him in one of the bathrooms. He had made a mess of himself and the bathroom. He was irritated and embarrassed. It took a while for me to calm him down. The nurses and aides left me alone to deal with cleaning him and the bathroom. After I worked on it awhile, I insisted that they help. They were irritated and it took forever to get them to take over their responsibility. Often the bathroom off of the dining room was filthy and disgusting. When I brought it to their attention, they would say that it often was and was too hard to keep it clean.I supplied plenty of clean, new clothes, shoes and socks for his needs. Most of these were never used. I would find him in dirty, torn and often the same clothes. His shoes would go missing all the time- often disappearing within a day or 2 of me purchasing and bringing them to him. I was always told to fill out a complaint/comment form and they would be found. They never were. I was told that they would purchase him some more to replace them and they never did. All of his items were clearly labeled with his name. They told me that they regularly went through other rooms and returned things to rightful owners, my dads items never returned to him. His glasses and upper denture also had his name on them and were also items they disappeared.There were programs such as headphones to play music for clients that could get agitated in order to help them relax. If headphones got lost, they program was not continued. Earbuds are inexpensive, but would not be replaced and program would not continue. Searches for finding earbuds were never done as I was told them would be.One day before dinner I arrived to find my dad still sitting at the table from lunch. He was slumped in his chair, food from lunch all over him and the table also a mess from his lunch. He was so slumped that it had to be causing him pain in his bad back. I had to request help to get him situated and cleaned up. He had SAT THERE LIKE THAT MOST OF THE DAY WITHOUT ANYONE CHECKING ON HIM OR TAKING CARE OF HIM.These circumstances are just a few times that stand out, but there were many other situations that I could list.Last of all, when my dad passed away in this facility, I did not receive one call or card of condolence from any staff or the facility. I had been there 6 days a week for 9 months caring for my dad who had been there for 9 months. I considered us a team, a family and I did not receive any kind of contact. I was just called to come and pick up the last of his clothes- some of which had been boxed up were not even my dads. Needless to say, this last act of Peach Tree Place was in true fashion to the way they treated my father or myself in the 9 months of his stay.I dont care what kind of ranking they must be receiving from the state, this is not a facility that I would ever take my family to again. Ever.

Right before I was ready to sign on the dotted line with another group, I met Barry Burkholder from the Burkholder Group . Initial impression was one of confidence, competence, genuine customer service, and desire to partner with his clients so they are 100% happy with the outcome . Wow ! Imagine that ! The Burkholder Brothers are a well-oiled machine with a comprehensive business plan from soup to nuts designing, executing, and caring for landscapes . We went through the blueprint process with Barry and his designer, Deb Wright with ease . Deb has a good read on people which allows her to not only anticipate but ensure that expectations are set which is very important . She listened to ideas that we brought forward, and helped to reconcile differences that I had with my husband about the project.The job started in early March 2018 . During this time, we experienced 4 Noreasters, flooding, and what at times, felt like mud slides . The weather was NOT our friend . This was a complex job that involved re-building a swell in the back yard, underground piping, electrical installations, pool decking, a retainer wall, removing many trees, re-configuring and re-mapping, and the list goes on . Barrys crew were very hard working, professional, pleasant, and they cleaned up . They genuinely appeared to enjoy working for the Burkholder Brothers . One landscaper in particular, Jason, did an outstanding job . Every time I saw him, he was doing his craft, with conviction . He took so much care and pride in his work, he truly has a passion for nature and beauty . I am incredibly appreciative to him tree service murrells inlet sc . At one point, when we were having what felt like flooding to me, I called Barry and he sent the Project Manager right over to investigate . Dan, the project manager, was there in no time, which put my mind at ease . Dan was very responsive to my emails throughout the project . Although Barry is one of the owners, I felt he was accessible at all times to me as well, and always reassured and delivered . He did not disappear after being awarded the contract as many business owners do . Another thing I really appreciated is that the contract was very clear, outlining the project and time points of payments which allowed me to do my financial planning . There were no hidden fees or issues that popped up outside of the contract . So I believe that most things were assessed properly, and accounted for on their end; and that is very important for the success of a project.I bought my outside furniture from Burkholder Brothers and worked with Melody . Melody is very helpful, pleasant, polite, and demonstrated great customer service . She was patience with me when I changed my mind, at least twice, adding, and removing items from the order list . It was fun to work with Melody, and I felt she was genuinely excited for me which is hard to find in customer service . I recently had the furniture delivered and it is beautiful . You will be very happy with their professionalism, expectation management, customer service, work ethic, and design abilities . You may pay a little bit more but you will get what you expect, and be very happy with the outcome . You will not have to think too much once they start the project, as there is a great level of communication which is key . Your mind will be at ease . Their employees seem happy, and I think that says it a lot about the group . I have a restored faith in these type of industries now thanks to Barry and his team.
