We recently moved to Elkins Park and needed a lot of landscaping done around our house . We did some business with another local company to take down our trees and then got a quote from them for another big job that we needed done . They quoted us 24K to haul in dirt and sod our backyard (on a slope) . This felt more than a little high, so I asked my new neighbors who to contact and everyone said Teva . I gave them a call and later that day a representative (Ami) from the company came out and gave me a quote for the same job, but for 9K . Thats right, 15K less that the other company . Needless to say, I went with Teva . They came out fast and did a meticulous job building up our slope and laying the sod . I recently had a massive limb fall into our creek and I couldnt get any tree guys to come out and clean it up japanese maple dead . I called Teva (I wasnt sure if they did tree stuff at first)and they came out within the hour and took care of it!!!!!!!!! ! I have been so so so pleased with this company, the work they have done and everyone Ive met and spoken to there . We still have a few large jobs to do in our yard and Im not gonna bother calling anybody else next time . Teva has my business.

My review is going to be based on the customer service.One of their representatives, I believe her name was Clare, made my pretty bad day a little better with just how knowledgeable and understanding she was.Petco had everything I needed to nip my cats problem in the bud, hopefully for awhile. I spent a bit more than I wanted to, but this is my first pet and I go overboard for him, Hobo the cat has his own funds. Pets are family. I believe Petcos prices are manageable for I was taking care of and you cannot beat the sense of security I felt leaving because of their services.For those interested, here is what happened:I came in about a week ago and I was upset, because my cat Hobo, had managed to pick up fleas. He never goes outside, I didnt think it was possible and he has always been well kept, so I never noticed until that day. It just floored me, because we were going on a tiny vacation and I was worried about him already. Now I thought to myself, this makes a lot of sense. He was moody lately, he was scratching behind his ear more than usual..and he had been sleeping away from us on hardwood or tile. I felt awful.So I get ready to go back out, looking for places in the area that I can get to quickly and here is Petco at the top of the list with already good reviews.Petco was where I went before I even picked up Hobo, the morning of his homecoming, I was there buying food..a bed, a toy..a cat carrier-- I would have probably bought a cat tree if I felt that we could have got to the car.I walk in and after a few minutes of looking around aimlessly and ignoring everyone, because Im worried, I reach out to Clare. As soon as I speak up. she is smiling. I explain to her what I found..and she does not give me a Yuck expression or that blank stare. Those are actually my expressions. She is only, calm and understanding. Clare walks me back to the supplies they have.From there, it was a friendly, down to earth, and honest conversation. She gives me options that range from price to reviews.. and every question I ask, she has a good response as answer.So I pick up a spray for the house, a comb and the dreaded flea collar. All which have done their job, as Clare felt confident they would.The collar was the Seresto Collar for cats, which does have decent reviews and information. The comb was a generic comb and the spray was Adams Plus, Flea and tick spray.Then I pick up a toy and a new collar, just because he deserves it.A week has almost passed and he just seems happier overall. He hates his collar, of course, but I can see the difference in his attitude and his fur. I hope it continues to work.

Well- heres the thing...if you want an unreliable, poorly staffed lawn company then Texans Lawn Care is NOT the company for you!! ! Not only do they routinely mow and weed eat our yard, but they have also assisted with de-weeding, Spring & Fall winterizing/mulching and special event preparation . This year, Clayton and his guys added rocked rose beds around our greenhouse . If you want to design a new landscaping area or add some new plants, Clayton and his staff at Texans can design it, make foliage suggestions and even provide a computerized rendering- I utilized this service just today ! Texans Lawn Care will be providing new landscaping on a house remodel ! Clayton and his team have routinely assisted us with lawncare and maintenance of our 12 acres for over two years and we could not be more satisfied ! As you guys are aware, we had an extremely hot and dry summer this year.. . Clayton drove by our property to check on things, adjusted our water sprinkler system, suggested self-watering tree bags, and identified when the yard did not need mowed or if it just needed spot mowing-- that is an example of above and beyond honest service ! Texans Lawn Care identified the onset of lawn fungus and army worm invasion this year- and provided contacts & referrals to assist ! Anything in your yard can happen with Texans Lawn Care- at whatever level of assistance you need drought tolerant trees zone 6 ! They have always been willing to help, are excited by new challenges, offer suggestions, coordinate additional needed services, and provide resource assistance ! Extremely fast service, cant beat the price. All of the employees were super professional, and they did a fantastic job cleaning up my trees as well as chopping down a tree. They even ground down my stump from the chopped down tree to prevent any additional growth, and gave me some really good tips on how to prevent the growth and tips on how to take care of the lawn that had died because of tree overgrowth. Would highly recommend!
